# Braze Currents

> Braze Current is a real-time data stream of your engagement events exported out of the Braze platform. It gives you the capability to stream the Braze event data continuously to power business intelligence and analytics efforts in other best-in-class platforms.

Using Braze Currents as a data source in Zeotap, you can map your customer data to Zeotap's endpoint through batched JSON payloads.
